Bedford & District Aeromodelling Club is one of the longest established clubs in the Bedford area, with an average annual membership of more than 40 fliers. The primary interest is radio control power models - this is broad based with sports, scale, fun-fly, aerobatic, and gas-turbine jets, all flown regularly. Interest in electric flight and glider guiding is growing, while aerotowing is becoming popular with some members.

Feel free to take a look around our site, and don't hesitate to contact us  if you are interested in joining.

Gala Day re-scheduled for Sunday 10th August

07/07/2008

This year, Gala Day was originally scheduled for Sunday 22nd June, but due to poor weather was postponed. It's now been re-scheduled for Sunday 10th August, so fingers crossed for good weather, and we hope to see you there!

Gala day last year was a great day, with a good turnout, but this year’s event is going to be bigger and better!

For those that have never been, Gala day is the club's annual "fun day", where friends and family are invited, and there will be competitions (with prizes!), all sorts of flying, and a (free) barbecue to keep you fed.

Bring along your models and have a flight – we want to see scale, pattern, sports, gliders and everything in between! – but don’t worry if you don’t want to fly, come along and watch. Bring your friends and family – the more the merrier!
